 THEMUSICALTHEATREPATHWAY

At Amoré, creativity, growth, and connection are at the heart of everything we do. Singing, acting, dancing, and making music isn’t just a skill - it’s how students explore, express, and develop as artists. In 2026, we’re expanding with more classes, more instruments, and new ensembles, giving students multiple pathways to challenge themselves, collaborate, and perform. Every program is designed to stretch skills, inspire curiosity, and foster confident, versatile performers. From personal lessons to collaborative projects, 2026 is about giving every student the guidance, space, and opportunities to grow as a performer and discover their unique artistic voice.

Musical Theatre Pathway
These classes can be taken individually or packaged together. When combined, they provide a clear pathway for students to develop singing, acting and movement skills in a cohesive way, helping them grow as confident, versatile performers ready for any stage opportunity.

Hip Hop/Tap (Junior Year 3-6. Senior Year 7-12)

Hip Hop/Tap at Amoré blends style, rhythm, and meaningful technical development. In 2026, students explore musicality, strength, and individuality while working through choreography that’s expressive, challenging, and rooted in strong technique. Hip hop builds coordination, agility, and confidence; tap enhances timing, precision, and a deeper connection to the music. Together, they create a pathway that elevates every aspect of a performer - from stage presence to musical awareness to creative expression. It’s dynamic, energising, and genuinely fun, helping students move with intention, take creative risks, and develop a dance style that feels authentically their own.

Jazz/Ballet (Junior Year 3-6. Senior Year 7-12)

Jazz/Ballet at Amoré builds the kind of technical foundation that genuinely transforms young performers. In 2026, this class gives students space to develop strength, alignment, and intentional movement while exploring musicality, artistry, and dynamic performance quality. Ballet provides clarity, control, and body awareness; jazz adds versatility, expression, and confidence in stylistic choices. Together, they create a pathway that develops capable, disciplined dancers who can adapt to any creative setting. Students learn how their bodies work, how to move with purpose, and how technique supports freedom - building the skills that shape thoughtful, resilient, and expressive artists.

Drama (Junior Year 3-6. Senior Year 7-12)

Drama at Amoré is a space where performers learn to think creatively, respond instinctively, and collaborate with purpose. In 2026, students learn through fast-paced activities and dynamic games that keep the class engaging and energised, building confidence without pressure. We build on that momentum with meaningful creative work - exploring scripts, developing scenes, and learning how to write and shape their own material. Students discover how to make clear acting choices, listen to their ensemble, and communicate ideas with intention. This class develops adaptable, curious performers who understand story, connection, and character from the inside out.

Group Singing (Junior Year 3-6. Senior Year 7-12)

Group Singing builds confidence, teamwork, and vocal skills in a fun, high-energy environment. Students learn harmony, blend, rhythm, breathing, and healthy vocal technique while working together to create a unified sound. Classes explore a mix of contemporary, musical theatre, and pop repertoire, giving every student a chance to shine while developing strong ensemble skills. Through games, warm-ups, part-singing, and performance practice, singers gain musical awareness and grow as both individuals and team members. This class is perfect for students who love to sing, want to strengthen their voices, and enjoy being part of a supportive, collaborative group.

Tiny Triple Threat (PP-Year 2)

We’ve expanded our popular Musical Theatre Mini class from one hour to 1.5 hours so we can further support and develop our youngest performers. Each class is divided into three fun, focused 30-minute sessions: Singing, Acting, and Dance. Students learn age-appropriate vocal skills, expressive storytelling, and foundational dance technique through engaging activities, games, and creative play. This balanced structure helps build confidence, coordination, and imagination while introducing them to all areas of performing arts. Tiny Triple Threat is the perfect class for energetic young learners who love to sing, move, and perform in a warm, positive environment.
