At Amoré Music, our one-on-one drum lessons are designed for everyone—from five-year-old first-timers to adults returning to a lifelong love of music. Whether you want to rock out in a band, prepare for AMEB exams, build confidence, or simply have fun behind the kit, we’ll shape each lesson around your personal goals.

Our drum teachers are the real deal—trained at top institutions like WAAPA and loaded with hands-on experience across all styles and stages. They're not just great drummers; they're inspiring mentors who know how to bring out the best in every student.

Learn the Right Stuff, the Right Way
From day one, we help students build solid foundations with core drumming skills like stick control, rhythm reading, limb coordination, dynamic playing, and essential rudiments (like paradiddles, flams, and rolls). As confidence grows, we explore more advanced techniques, musicality, and different genres—rock, jazz, Latin, funk—you name it.

Play Real Music, with Real People
There’s nothing better than playing with others! That’s why we invite our drum students to be part of our band program and perform in two studio concerts each year. We also encourage everyone to take up opportunities outside the studio—because music is meant to be shared.
