Retha

 

 

 

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Retha immigrated to Perth in 2008. She was accepted into the musical theatre GATE program at John Curtin College of the Arts and her time there, together with her years as a chorister in the Australian Girls Choir, inspired her to pursue musical theatre as a career. Theatre credits since graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts (Music Theatre) from Principal Academy of Dance and Theatre Arts in 2020 include We Will Rock You - Ensemble (Crown Theatre, 2020), Hymn for End Times - Choir (His Majesty’s Theatre, 2021), Legally Blonde – Featured Ensemble (Crown Theatre, 2021), 42nd Street – Featured Ensemble (Limelight Theatre). She also regularly works for The Experience Lab as a role play actor, and High Voltage Performers Boutique as a Brand Ambassador. She teaches performing arts skills privately, and is a firm believer that with the right training, anyone can learn to sing.
